Unlimitail partners with in-Store Media to expand in-store Retail Media solutions in Carrefour Italy


Milan, January 9th, 2025 – Unlimitail, Carrefour’s exclusive global retail media partner, and Carrefour Italy are proud to announce the appointment of in-Store Media (iSM) to oversee retail media operations across Carrefour Italy’s stores.
Succeeding Dunnhumby, which has played a pivotal role in advancing Carrefour's POS media strategy in Italy over the past three years, in-Store Media will leverage its expertise in retail media and continue driving growth and innovation. This partnership will extend successful collaborations with in-Store Media, Carrefour and Unlimitail across other markets like Poland and Spain.
Starting in February, Carrefour Italy’s network will expand its advertising offer with traditional Point-of-Sale ads and new Digital-Out-of-Home (DOOH) formats, progressively rolled out by in-Store Media to enhance store media performance and help brands better connect with Italian shoppers.
These new opportunities reinforce Unlimitail’s omnichannel expertise in Italy, combining Onsite advertising on Carrefour’s website and app, Offsite advertising, couponing, and In-store activations. Leveraging Carrefour’s network of over a thousand stores, leadership in grocery e-commerce, and data from one of Italy’s largest loyalty programs, enabling precise and impactful campaigns across every touchpoint.
